He is an assistant professor at the University of the District of Columbia. He received Ph.D degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2010. His main research areas include HCI, Visual Analytics, Information Visualization, and Virtual Reality. In the past, he published many scientific research papers (please see my portfolio for detail by clicking the above menu). Currently, he concentrates more on Visual Analytics that is a research area where visualization and analytics face together. In Visual Analytics, HCI (Human Computer Interaction) paradigm is deeply considered by researchers by increasing the overall performance of analyzing complex dataset and digging out unknown, but useful knowledge.

His hobby is taking pictures. He built up his hobby when he was in college. At that time, he joined a club to learn how to take pictures and how to develop. Although he knew how to develop black and white film, his style has been changed a lot after digital camera came out. Nowadays, almost everybody has a digital camera. Some people try to take pictures and modify them by applying special effects. However, he still not prefer to adding any special effects onto taken pictures.
